Well, my two-week vacation was over. When I returned to California from Billings, Montana, Angie Kendall asked me if the “Tower” had fallen to pieces.

Oh, yes. Yes, the “Tower” did come down. Maybe it's going to collapse. It's going to fall apart.

That's what I said.

What in the world is she talking about? She is talking about the “Tower”, the 16th Major Arcana of the Tarot card. I did not believe in divination at that time, but Angie was gradually resorting to metaphysics because our "Nu-Era Pics" were growing too fast and she was not sure if she could make the right decisions in the future.

At that time, after listening to my suggestions in business, she always sought opinions from Tarot cards, Lenormand Cards, and various Oracle Cards, and when she still could not allay her fears, she sought opinions from her coaches and mentors. They usually possessed spiritual knowledge. The picture of the “Tower”, number 16 in the Major Arcana, is like the Tower of Babel collapsing. This indicates an imminent event that will have a great impact on our lives. The picture is shocking, but not necessarily with serious consequences. In my case, the impetus to change my ego's pompous attitude came through the simple goodwill of the people of Billings.

Before going to Billings, Montana, Angie Kendall prophesied.

Yukkin!!! a great change is coming to your life! The “Tower” is out! A “Tower”!

What are you talking about?

That was my reaction.

Now I know that Oracle Cards such as Tarot are significant as a way to ask the opinion of my Higher-Self, but I had no idea that my true Will was hidden behind, deep within, or above my manifest consciousness.

Or, I had no doubt at the time that my future glory would be earned by my own efforts and that almost everything would be up to me.

I had no idea that some things in life are predetermined. I did not believe in the existence of "prārabdha karma".

It is true that life is up to me, but the ego-consciousness has no power, so there is no use in resisting the unfolding of destiny. But at that time I believed that I could achieve everything with my efforts on the level of ego-consciousness.

But sure enough, the "Tower" collapsed, and I couldn't help but see Angie Kendall as a sage. I told her about my two weeks in Billings, Montana. I declared that from now on I would be more open to rich emotional experiences. I told her that I would be going to Monument Valley in the near future. Monument Valley is an area stretching from southern Utah to northern Arizona and is inhabited by the Navajo Nation. Or rather, it is a place whose scenery I have seen many times in the movies I watched for my young English studies. In other words, I saw it a lot in John Ford's westerns. Stagecoach, My Darling Clementine, Fort Apache, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, Rio Grande, The Searchers, etc. And Monument Valley can also be seen in Robert Zemeckis' "Forrest Gump". This is where Forrest Gump stops running after running for about 3 years and 2 months. I was somewhat interested in learning about the enormity of the United States, and I wanted to experience a different and incredible spectacle of "Nature".

When Angie Kendall heard this, she asked me if I would like to attend a certain workshop she was attending.

Yes, you are right. It is a workshop on spiritual knowledge. However, it was not run by a famous person, but by an old friend of Angie's from her "Computer Online Services" hobby days, Melissa "Missy" Blanchard, who lives in Albuquerque, was doing it at home. I was curious, my heart was at full throttle, and I agreed. And there I first heard the term "Law of Attraction".

I thought I had found the way forward. From now on, as long as I am in a state of excited awareness and doing what I enjoy, I can live a life that is in alignment with my soul's purpose. It is fun! I knew I would be able to revisit Montana and visit my family in Japan. I obviously needed a break. So, I became obsessed with the "Law of Attraction" and began reading books such as Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich", Florence Scovel Shinn's "The Game of Life and How to Play It", Deepak Chopra, I began attending workshops by Abraham-Hicks, Joseph Vitale, and others. And every day, I was excited to work and play comfortably and pleasantly. The planet is beautiful and interesting. Hawaii was interesting too. I enjoyed swimming with the dolphins and visited many times. I also liked the volcanoes on the Big Island of Hawai‘i. When I went near the volcano, I felt like I was looking at myself. I felt that although I was now resting in touch with "Nature", it was a preparation for something, and that one day I would make a huge explosion like a volcano and begin the creation of something new.
